Mr Stephen Austin

 

Stephen Austin is a Melbourne local, and an Australian trained Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon.

Stephen is registered with AHPRA as both a medical and dental specialist, having completed training in Medicine (University of Melbourne- 2006) and Dentistry (Griffith University- 2010). Since becoming a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (RACDS) in the field of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Stephen has pursued further Fellowships in the United Kingdom and in Australia, advancing his experience and knowledge of his field.

Stephen has completed subspecialisation in Temporomandibular Joint Surgery and has a special interest in 3D planning technology, particularly in Corrective Jaw Surgery, Dental Implants and Temporomandibular Joint Replacement.
Stephen is active in academia as a reviewer for the British Journal of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, and is a published author in multiple surgical journals. He holds public appointments at St Vincent’s Hospital, the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne, and Western Hospital.
